President Arnold Schwarzenegger?
Friday August 8, 2003
As Arnold Schwarzenegger launches his political career, it's worth recalling a scene from the film "Demolition Man," which takes place in the year 2032. As Sandra Bullock attempts to bring Sylvester Stallone up to speed on what has happened in the world in the last 30 years, she refers to the Schwarzenegger Presidential Library.
Stallone: "Hold it! The Schwarzenegger Library?"
Bullock: "Yes, the Schwarzenegger Presidential Library. Wasn't he an actor?"
Stallone: "Stop! He was President?"
Bullock: "Yes. Even though he was not born in this country, his popularity at the time caused the 61st Amendment…"
Pure Hollywood fiction, right? Not if Sen. Orrin Hatch has anything to say about it.

Demolition Man actually takes place in 2032 not 2026 anyone who’s seen the movie knows that.
Yecch. There’s this, and the push for an implanted chip to use for currency and identification, and the lobbyist-doctors who want unhealthy food banned…Can’t these people find a better movie to plagiarize?!
Thanks Rick for the correction and it is 2032, I was gonna go caveman on our buddy here.
