Game Show Network to Spoof California Recall

California's electoral theater of the absurd has spawned its first TV spinoff. The Game Show Network announced that it will air a spoof show titled "Who Wants to Be Governor of California? The Debating Game," which will feature five candidates vying for Gray Davis's job. The Oct. 1 show will include a political debate produced in the style of a game show and award a prize of $21,200 to the candidate in the group who receives the most votes in the recall election.
