Five hundred-plus TV sound trucks trailing California gubernatorial candidate Arnold Schwarzenegger created what officials are calling a "severe strain" on the nationwide power grid Thursday afternoon, knocking out power in the U.S. and Canada, according to the Borowitz Report.
Meanwhile, to conserve energy, the Fox News Channel suspended its usual "Fair and Balanced" coverage of the news and instead broadcast seven hours of the conservative pundit Ann Coulter, who shouted incoherently into the camera until power was restored.
