Democratic presidential hopeful Howard Dean stirred up controversy when he said he wanted to be the candidate for "guys with Confederate flags in their pickup trucks." Meanwhile, the New York Daily News reports that in Dean's soon-to-be-published campaign manifesto, "Winning Back America," he writes about his youthful drunken behavior and occasional adventures in petty theft.
