Condi Rice's Secret Ambition

With Secretary of State Colin Powell headed for the door, it's not surprising that President Bush has tapped Condoleezza Rice as his replacement. After all, Bush and Rice enjoy an unusually close relationship. That became apparent earlier this year at a Washington dinner party when Rice, who is not married, made a revealing slip of the tongue. She was reportedly overheard saying, "As I was telling my husb—" before abruptly stopping herself. She continued: "As I was telling President Bush."
