Ashcroft Song To Be Performed at Bush Inauguration

The Presidential Inaugural Committee announced that John Ashcroft's song "Let the Eagle Soar" will be performed at President Bush's inauguration later this month. The song — made famous after Michael Moore featured it in "Fahrenheit 9/11" — sadly will not be performed by Ashcroft himself. But we invite you to listen to a stirring rendition of the sappy ballad as originally performed by our crooning attorney general.
