Congressman Accuses Bill Maher of Treason

Comedian Bill Maher has once again found himself in the line of conservative ire, this time for allegedly committing treason. Republican Congressman Spencer Bachus said a remark Maher made on HBO's "Real Time with Bill Maher" about the military missing its recruiting goal by 42 percent in April "borders on treason" and should be grounds for canceling his show.

The remark in question: "More people joined the Michael Jackson fan club," Maher said. "We've done picked all the low-lying Lynndie England fruit, and now we need warm bodies." Read more…

Quite Incredible! Unlike our founding fathers intents, perhaps Bill speaks for many of the unrepresented Americans that are absolutely sick of seeing millions of dollars spent in political ads that strictly ednorse politically motivated speeches that speak no truth to the american public. Long live Bill! Glad HBO has some BALLS! I enjoy the keen political satire!
