Karl Rove Scandal

Tuesday July 12, 2005
The White House press corps took Press Secretary Scott McClellan to the woodshed for misleading them about Karl Rove's role in the Bush administration's leak of an undercover CIA operative's name, the Washington Post reports.

Crooks & Liars has the video and Raw Story has the transcript of McClellan's amusing, dissembling interchange with reporters.

The Professional Cartoonists Index presents a collection of cartoons about Rovegate.

The Daily Show offers a hilarious take on the scandal, while Jay Leno also weighs in:

"The president's top political adviser, Karl Rove, is spending all his time working on Bush's next Supreme Court nominee. Well sure, that's because this judge could decide if Rove is going to prison or not."
