Gore Feuds With Lindsay Lohan, Considers Nude Scene

Saturday June 10, 2006
Al Gore joked with Jay Leno about what it's like to be getting the movie star treatment following the success of his global warming documentary, An Inconvenient Truth.

"Well, it's not all easy," Gore told Leno. "For example, I'm in this huge feud with Lindsay Lohan." He declined to elaborate, saying only, "She knows what she did." (Watch video clip)

Leno also asked Gore if he was entertaining other film offers:

Gore: "I have had other offers. But, frankly, Jay, when you refuse to do nude scenes, it really cuts down on the opportunities."

Leno: "Let's follow that up. Would you consider doing a nude scene if it was an integral part of the story."

Gore: "You mean if the script had integrity? And if the scene advanced the story? Actually I've been asked a lot. There's been kind of a buzz about this."

Leno: "Are you sure that's a buzz you're hearing?"

Gore: "I just want to clarify. I have no plans to do a nude scene. I have no intention to do a nude scene. I don't expect to do a nude scene. But I haven't made a Shermanesque statement about it."

Gore was poking fun at the stock answer he's been giving lately when he's been asked whether he intends to run for president again in 2008.
