This election season was so good for political humor. It is really perfect that tina fey came around for the perfect Palin matchup. I am going to miss that impersonation!

(3) SNL fan says:

Tina Fey said a couple of weeks ago, “If she wins, I’m done. I can’t do that for four years. And by ‘I’m done,’ I mean I’m leaving Earth.”

So not only did we get rid of Sarah Palin, but we get to keep Tina Fey!

The best joke I’ve heard is that Sarah Palin is being groomed for 2012…not even the american kennel club is ready for the amount of grooming required….

(5) Derrick says:

Thank God for Tina Fey and SNL. They helped save the world from Caribou Barbie. Obama should award the entire SNL cast the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

(6) Gwen says:

Personally I hope that Sarah Palin stays on the political scene for a long, long time. At a time when we are losing our biggest national laughingstock (George Bush), I can’t think of a more worthy successor than Senator Palin, RNC Chairman Palin, or maybe even FOX News host Palin.

There is much to celebrate about Obama’s victory, but it may be the death of political comedy as we know it. Say what you will about George Bush, but his comedy act will be sorely missed.
