By August 31, 2010

Follow me on:

Crazy Glenn Beck Quotes Glenn Beck has claimed on more than one occasion that God speaks through him.

Prior to his Beckapalooza rally in Washington, Beck declared, "I'm only writing a few bullet points. And I am doing that so I don't get in the way of the spirit, in case he wants to talk...if you would just pray that I would be able to hear because sometimes -- sometimes he's screaming at me and I still can't hear it.''

Does Glenn Beck actually channel the word of God, or he is insane? We invite you to read this collection of Glenn Beck's craziest quotes of all time and judge for yourself.

Is Glen Beck Crazy?
Yes he is, he is very crazy, with out a doubt.
Talks to God, he wishes he talked to God.
The real question is. Is why would God want to talk to
him.I guess people will listen to anyone in times of need,
sounds just like Hitler to me and the rest of those B esers,
from the past.

Clinically I think he has a mental disorder, but I think most doctors steer clear of the word crazy these days. Probably a combination of bipolar disorder and Schizophrenia. People with Type I, or positive schizophrenia, have a rapid (acute) onset of symptoms and tend to respond well to drugs. They also tend to suffer more from the “positive” symptoms, such as delusions and hallucinations. God screaming at you clearly comes under hallucinations.’

I am curious about about the two comments made by Kris and Silly (Very Appropriate).

The analysis made looks like the person rendering an opinion is either a patient or a doctor.
People who have heard or said that they have heard the word of GOD are not all crazy.
Would you concurr? Or did you vote for Mr Obama after someone left a message in your head.

Having seen way too many documentaries about Adolf. I think that he might have thought himself a GOD and shephard of his people. I have not seen any news reports where Beck has gassed any of his critics.

Some in our Church believe that Glen Beck is the Anti-Christ after this 8/28 “Religious” event. He fits the scripture. He presented himself as a Religious figure while Obama presents himself as not religious at all.
Beck claims that God is giving him a plan to share with mankind at 8/28 rally. According to the Book of Revelations the anti-christ will be a man, in his 40s, of Irvingites (Mormon) desent who will deceive the nations with persuasive language, and have a massive Christ-like appeal. The prophecy says that people will flock to him and he will promise false hope and world peace.
“The individual person of Antichrist will not be a demon, as some of the ancient writers believed; nor will he be the person of the devil incarnated in the human nature of Antichrist. He will he a human person, perhaps of Jewish extraction, if the explanation of Genesis 49:17, together with that of Dan’s omission in the catalogue of the tribes, as found in the Apocalypse, be correct. It must be kept in mind that extra-Scriptural tradition furnishes us no revealed supplement to the Biblical data concerning Antichrist. While these latter are sufficient to make the believer recognize the “man of sin” at the time of his coming, the lack of any additional reliable revelation should put us on our guard against the daydreams of the Irvingites, the Mormons, and other recent proclaimers of new revelations.” New Advant online Catholic Encyclopedia
Beck only talks about God not Christ. Morman dissenters claimed that Smith had become the Anti-Christ in 1834 when he changed the church’s name from ” Church of Christ ” to ” Church of Latter Day Saints ,” deleting the name of Jesus. Maybe they were off by a few years.

What I find worrying is not that much that Beck is crazy. Yes he does not make sense, he talks rubbish, he is a pathetic display, but …

What I find truely worrying is that there are millions of people crazy enough to watch this guy and take the rubbish he talks seriously.
