Stewart/Colbert 2008: A No-Go

Jon Stewart Daily Show host Jon Stewart dashed the hopes of millions of fans and would-be constituents this week when he ruled out a 2008 presidential bid.

Stewart/Colbert 2008 T-shirts have been all the rage lately, but Stewart said it's merely a "sign of how sad people are" with the state of the country.

"Nothing says 'I am ashamed of you my government' more than 'Stewart/Colbert '08,'" Stewart told an audience at the New Yorker Festival.

Man of the Year
