This
picture appeared in the September, 2001 issue of Talk
magazine as part of a controversial
photo spread depicting President Bush's daughters in
jail on booze charges. The photos feature model stand-ins for Jenna and
Barbara, faux Secret Service agents, and a George Bush lookalike
springing them from the slammer. The captions read: "Grand
Ol' Party," "Arrested Development" and
"Compassionate Conservatism? You're Grounded."
Talk
says the pictures are intended in good fun and are part of a satirical
"fashion" shoot. The White House, meanwhile, is furious and
has served
notice that they will no longer cooperate with any journalists
writing stories for Talk.
