1st Annual Political Dot-Comedy Awards
Best Political Humor on the Web, 2000

Political humor has become an increasingly influential force in the American political scene. So has the Internet, with growing numbers of people turning to cyberspace for political information and comic relief.

In recognition of the all-important role political humor plays in creating an informed electorate and in tribute to the brilliant political mockery that came out of the 2000 election we're inaugurating the 1st Annual Political Dot-Comedy Awards.
