Sarah Palin: Going 'Rogue' or 'Rouge'?

Sarah Palin: Going Rogue or Rouge?

When Sarah Palin's book, Going Rogue: An American Life, hits stores next month, she'll be facing a bit of snarky competition from two books that parody the title of her memoir.

Editors of The Nation are publishing a book on the same day titled Going Rouge: An American Nightmare, featuring a collection of Palin-bashing essays by contributors to the progressive magazine.

Julie Sigwart and political satirist Micheal Stinson are self-publishing Going Rouge: The Sarah Palin Rogue Coloring & Activity Book, which includes coloring pages with lipsticks and pigs, dress-up games featuring the Neiman Marcus RNC wardrobe, and other satirical fun.

Whether or not any of the Palin faithful will be fooled by the similar titles and covers remains to be seen. But given that there is many a teabagger out there who can't tell the difference between "public" and "pubic," "competence" and "competnce," or "informed" and "infromed," the difference between "rogue" and "rouge" may escape them as well.

Well, you certainly showed your liberal agenda!

I love the fact that the first commenter takes great offense to the term teabagger, while the second proudly proclaims it. You teabaggers really are confused.

Oh please, you don’t have to have a “liberal agenda” to be horrified by Sarah Palin. She is a complete idiot, and should never have been elected to any office!

You poor libs are just scared of her. She does have a huge following and she is a true American Patriot. You hate her because she scares you. She’s a true conservative. Enjoy your twisted little games.

As a non-American, let me just say that I don’t hate her, nor am I scared of her. But I am scared by what she represents and by the fact that – despite her being a talentless, dangerously ignorant media junkie – so many people support her. She’s a NUTTER.

Someone is going to court for plagiarism.

‘Going Rouge’ is purposefully designed to cause confusion [among folks like Kathy^, above, for instance], who believe every word blindly, without getting the facts on their own from reliable sources and clutch the shiniest trinket.

What a coup.

You have to be a “complete idiot” to believe that Sarah Palin is a complete idiot. Grow up and get over yourselves.

If an idiot should never be elected to office we should toss out … put your own names in here … but we could start with the President and work our way down…;-)

Liberals are bullies and all bullies are just scared little children. They flap off at the mouth until the one they
are picking on knocks them on there ass. Then they go running home, crying to mommy.

I agree with Candoo except they’re not bullies…they’re spineless idiots. It’s one thing to be a coward, but to be a coward AND an idiot is just too much! Well America, you asked for it.

I voted for McCain yes, but it was because he is a war hero, a conservative (which is who needs to be in charge!!) and he’s a “fellow american”. Sarah Palin had something to do with my vote too. She is a honest, dyed-in-the-wool hometown American. I like her and believe she is a true patriot and wasn’t doing it for the power. And, yes, she’s also a beautiful woman. Nancy Pelosi was probably a hot little number back in her day and nobody ran her outta DC. Beautiful women can go far if they roll over and become a doormat. If one speaks up and tries to use their brain…get the pitchfork and torches ready.

BTW, I am a 38 year old man that was born at Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Base in NC. I am as red-blooded American as you can get! Sarah Palin would’ve been one of the two best politicians to lead this country. If that’s not politically correct…too bad.

P.S. MERRY CHRISTMAS (early, I know, but you get my point)

The book was a bad idea, regardless of your political affiliation. The title made it even worse.
